Dear Mr Wigglesworth,
On the 29th January 1999 I was at home with my daughter in our sitting room. It was dark and we had a light on and the television. Something made me look to the window. I saw a figure in the darkness looking at me, this frightened me and I called out to my husband who was in another room.
He came to me and I said someone is in the garden looking through the window. He then went and opened the front door. I then got up and stood behind my husband at the door, I noticed that someone was running away. My husband went after him and I noticed that it was Mr Saward. A conversation took place and Mr Saward then handed my husband a letter. I hope this is an answer to your questions regarding this event, posed during our conversation on 15th April 1999
