Dear Mr Hyde,

Fire Services (Discipline) Regulations, 1985

I regret that it has become necessary to issue you a revised charge sheet following representations made on your behalf by Mr Wigglesworth.

Please find enclosed the revised charge sheet and Part II reply. The original one, dated 12th April 1999, should be destroyed. I shall assume that your response to the earlier charge sheet is null and void.

As before, you must return a copy of the charge sheet, and a completed Part II reply to me within 7 days. You have the right to consult with your Union representative before replying to the charge.

For the avoidance of doubt, the documents provided to you on 12th April 1999 when the original charge sheet was issued remain unchanged by the issue of this revised charge sheet.

I enclose two copies of this letter and the charge documents. I would advise you to pass a copy of the letter to your Union representative, Mr Wigglesworth. One copy of the charge documents is for your signature and return as described above – the other is for your retention
